Exhibitions

Meeting global buyers, face to face.

BOSHIHO presents leather and cork collections at international sourcing events, giving buyers a direct view of materials, finishes and product range.

Exhibitions give buyers a practical way to compare product categories, handle materials and discuss development requirements in one conversation. For BOSHIHO, they are also an opportunity to connect the product on display with the design, sampling and production work behind it.

Start with the product, then discuss the brief

A photograph can introduce a leather bag, wallet or cork accessory, but it cannot fully communicate hand feel, edge finishing, lining, hardware movement or internal organization. Reviewing samples in person helps a buyer identify which details belong in the development brief and which details still need to be adjusted for the target market.

The most useful exhibition conversations therefore move beyond choosing a displayed item. They clarify who the product is for, how it will be sold, what quantity range is being considered and which brand details must remain consistent across the collection.

Useful questions to bring to a product meeting

A short, specific discussion can give the sampling team a much clearer starting point. Buyers can prepare the following information before reviewing a collection:

  • Reference products, sketches or photographs that show the preferred direction
  • Target market, sales channel and expected product position
  • Material, color, logo and packaging requirements already known
  • Features that must change from the displayed sample
  • Expected quantity and the next internal approval step

Continue the same conversation after the show

BOSHIHO’s Shenzhen coordination team can organize the follow-up brief while the Dongguan team remains close to sampling and production. Keeping the same requirements connected helps reduce the gap between an exhibition discussion and a product that can be physically reviewed.

Buyers who were not able to meet the team in person can use the same process remotely by sharing references, target details and questions through an inquiry.
